The Bike Festival Award 2024 initiative is supported by Garda Dolomiti – Tourist Information Offices, in occasion with the Bike Festival in Riva del Garda with the aim of promoting innovative products and ideas in the off-road cycling sector.

1. ORGANIZER
Garda Dolomiti – Tourist Information Offices based in Riva del Garda has established, organized and is promoting the Bike Festival Awards 2024

2. SUBJECT
The Bike Festival Award 2024 is an international event open to bicycle manufacturing companies in the off-road sector. The Bike Festival Award 2024 was created with the aim of recognizing the best off-road bikes launched in 2024.
There are four categories:
• Mountain bike – front suspension
• Mountain bike – full suspension
• eMTB
• Gravel - eGravel

3. RECIPIENTS
The Bike Festival Award 2024 is an event open to capital companies, partnerships, individual companies and start-ups. Participation is free and reserved only for exhibitors at the Bike Festival in Riva del Garda 2024. All companies will have the right to use the name Bike Festival Award and the words "Finalist and/or Winner of the Bike Festival Award" (relating to the 2024 edition only) in their communication material to the public and to trade. 

4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO ENTER
The Jury that is made up of experts from the sports equipment sector will indicate in an autonomous manner the proposals that are deemed valid for the purposes of the Bike Festival Award 2024.
For each of the four categories there will be three finalists. The winners of the event will be announced on the first day of the Bike Festival Award 2024.
The candidacy entails the acceptance of sending the bicycle to the Bike Festival organization if it is identified as one of the three bikes nominated in its category.

5. ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
The jury will take into account the following:
• the level of technological innovation
• the external elements and design
• the strategy of the project communication
The Jury will use a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 representing the highest score. Furthermore, the attention given to the sustainability during the production and marketing phase of the bicycle represents a factor that may influence the evaluation of the bicycle.
The final decision by the Jury at the Bike Festival Award 2024 will be unquestionable. This event is not considered a competition.

6. CALENDAR
The stages of the event are expressed as following:
• 29th January 2024: Launch of the first edition of the Bike Festival Award 2024
• 26th February 2024: Opening for applications on the website www.bikefestivalriva.com
• 29th March 2024: Deadline for applications
• 9th April 2024: Communication to the companies that have a "nomination" for the final voting phase (this will not be made public until communication has been made by the organizers of the Bike Festival)
• 10th April 2024: Public announcement (media and social media) of the 12 bicycles with a “nomination”
• 12th April 2024: Final date for sending nominated bicycles to Riva del Garda for a physical examination by the Jury.
• 15th/16th April 2024: Bike Festival Award 2024 Jury meeting
• 2nd May 2024: Communication of the 4 winners of the Bike Festival Award 2024 In case of renunciation of the Prize or the inability to send the bicycle to the Jury by the 12th of April 2024, the next candidate in the ranking will take 1st place.
The list of the nominees and the winners will be published on the website www.bikefestivalriva.com

7. THE WINNERS
The winners will receive a trophy which they will receive on the opening day on the main stage at the Bike Festival 2024 on the 2nd of May 2024. 

8. PUBLICATION OF THE NOMINATIONS AND THE WINNERS
By registering for the Bike Festival Award 2024, the participating companies grant the organization the use of their logo, images and videos and allow the use of the material and information sent free of charge on all media (press, radio, TV, web and social media).
The companies participating at the event authorizes the Bike Festival to reproduce photographic images and videos of their bicycle. The companies that get a nomination for one of their bicycles agrees to spread the word about their participation on their media channels and even more so if they are a winner of the Bike Festival Award 2024, in order to spread the aims of the event as much as possible.

9. BICYCLES ALLOWED
Conditions that determine the exclusion of participants from the Bike Festival Award or the revocation from the event, the communication of untrue information during the data collection phase and failure to comply with the participation methods established in these Rules results in failure to comply with the rules.
Any exclusion from the Bike Festival Award during the proposal control phase does not give the emergence to any right in favour of the excluded competitor.

10. ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES
Participation in the Bike Festival Award 2024 implies full acceptance of these Rules. The organizer of the event, Garda Dolomiti – Tourist Information Offices reserves the right to make changes to these rules if necessary, at its sole discretion.
The companies who get nominated for the Bike Festival Award 2024 must be in compliance with the rules governing their work in terms of contributions, social security and welfare.

11. PRIVACY
In accordance with the Decree dated 30th of June 2003, n. 196, as Data Controller of the processed data, Garda Dolomiti – Tourist Information Offices notes that it will process all the data requested in this communication, as well as all the data required by the procedure for joining the Bike Festival Award, in the specific context of the activities linked to the Bike Festival 2024 event.
