Monte Brione is exceptional in many respects.
The location on the northern shore of Lake Garda in the middle of a plain, the military trenches and fortifications from the First World War and the unique flora and fauna make the lowest mountain in Trentino a very special place.
One ascends not too steep asphalted paths in the midst of olive groves. From the First World War trenches there is an extraordinary panoramic view. At the highest point of the tour, a short but rather demanding rocky path begins.
Less experienced hikers are advised to turn back along the path they have just taken. If you choose the path, after the steep concrete roads, you will arrive at Sant'Alessandro and then return via cycle paths and minor roads.
