Bike Festival Award 2024 These are the four winning bikes

Bike Festival Awards

For the 30th time, the FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda opened its doors yesterday, Thursday. Early Friday afternoon, the festival organizers announced the winners of the Bike Festival Awards. Over 40 bicycle models in four categories were nominated. Now, the winners in the Hardtail, Fully, eMTB, and (e)Gravel categories have been determined.

(e)Gravel categories have been determined. "The Bike Festival Award holds a very special place because the innovations showcased are a major draw for visitors. And we want to honor this commitment," emphasized Oskar Schwazer, General Manager of Garda Trentino DMO. "The numerous submissions show us that we can certainly further develop this theme in the coming years."

Here are this year's winners:

  • Hardtail Category: Lurra 1 model by Liv (Giant)
  • Fully Category: S-Works Epic 8 model by Specialized
  • eMTB Category: ECC 6 model by GASGAS
  • (e)Gravel Bikes Category: Impulso RC model by Bianchi

Uli Stanciu chaired the jury of the Bike Festival Awards 2024, who conceived the idea of the Bike Festival at Lake Garda in the mid-90s. Thanks to him, bicycle enthusiasts in Riva del Garda have had the opportunity to see and test the latest bikes and e-bikes for 30 years now.

"The original idea of the Bike Festival was to test bicycles in a magnificent location like Riva del Garda with breathtaking trails. And the Award now continues this fundamental idea," commented Uli Stanciu. "During the jury meeting, we evaluated bikes and e-bikes with state-of-the-art technology and attractive design. Naturally, the Bike Festival Award can and will grow further after its successful debut, thanks to the extensive feedback from the jury members."

In addition to Uli Stanciu, the jury consisted of international industry insiders, including Michael Rieder (Technical Director KISKA), Giampaolo Allocco (Industrial Designer), Hannes Neupert (Mobility Expert), Alessandro Grisotto (Gravel Expert), Sissi Pärsch (Journalist), Jonny Moletta (Sports Designer), and Andrea Ziliani (YouTuber & Content Creator).

The winners of the four categories were all awarded the Bike Festival Award trophy on the stage of the FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda. This reflects the motto "Rocks On Fire" as the common thread of all initiatives surrounding the thirtieth edition of the Bike Expo.
