Getting to Riva del Garda by car is a breeze
From the north:
If you're coming from the north, follow the A22 Brenner-Modena motorway and take the Rovereto sud/Lago di Garda exit. From here, the SS240 road leads you straight to Riva del Garda. The distance is just 17 km. Alternatively, you can take the scenic route through the Sarca Valley by choosing the Trento nord motorway exit and following signs for SP235 road and then SS45bis.
From the south:
You can either take the A22 Modena-Brenner motorway and exit at Rovereto sud/Lago di Garda Nord, or opt for the charming SS45 Gardesana Occidentale state road. During heavy traffic, the A22 is recommended.
