The countdown to the Bike Festival Riva del Garda 2025 is on!

Expo Bike Riva del Garda

Only 15 days to go until the 31st FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda kicks off. From May 1 to 4, 2025, bikes will be all the talk at Garda Trentino – whether it’s mountain, e-mountain or gravel biking. With the dreamy landscape of Lake Garda in the background and under the “Riding Freedom!” motto, visitors will be able to test the latest models from renowned manufacturers, take part in races or guided tours, attend expert talks, celebrate at parties and simply enjoy the Italian Dolce Vita.

Riva del Garda, April 16, 2025 – For over 30 years, the FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda has been THE meeting place for bike fans from all over the world. Thanks to a new Expo Area with an improved space surrounded by greenery near the lake and plenty of attractive events and offers, this year's festival should once again be an memorable experience for all cycling fans.

The event kicks off on May 1 at 11 a.m. with the opening ceremony on the Expo Area main stage. Three hours later at the same place, the coveted Bike Festival Awards will be rewarding the best bikes of the year in the MTB-Fully, E-MTB-Fully and Gravel categories, as well as a special prize for the bike with the most innovative function. In the evening, the Red Bull Summer Vibes will be the first of many parties happening at the festival. The second day will be all about the MAXXIS Gravel Garda Trentino and the Bosch eMTB Challenge, before Saturday’s highlight, the famous Bike Marathon, in which several professional riders will be competing for valuable points in the UCI rankings. Also on May 3, e-bikers can discover the area around the northern part of Lake Garda in the non-competitive eBike Marathon. The Open Night and Bike Festival Party will take place in the evening. Youngsters will round it off on Sunday with the Scott Junior Trophy.

For four days, over 1,500 mountain, e-mountain, gravel and other bikes will be available for visitors to check in the Test Area. The best way to put the exhibitors' latest models through their paces is on the BF Test Trail - Easy, the BF Test Trail - Brione or the Expo Area Test Trail. You can also discover the wonderful nature of Lake Garda every day on four different guided tours powered by Mmove or improve your riding technique at the MTB School, enjoying a technical session in the new Skill Park Busatte. The SICK! Show - powered by Bikeflip Marketplace will take place several times a day, offering action, adrenaline and killer moves. For relaxation, there is Yoga for Bikers with Timo Pritzel.

In the Talk Area next to the main stage, selected experts and athletes will discuss current cycling-related topics – from technology and innovation to accessibility and sustainability.

There's a lot on offer for younger participants this year: three Kids Areas are entirely dedicated to children and teenagers. The AGS Nature Playground, Little Riders Zone and Hopper Jump & Wild Wheels will allow them to let off steam on routes actually suitable for children.

The FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda also offers plenty of earthly delights – local clubs and companies are bringing the best regional specialties directly to the festival, including vegetarian alternatives. The official Bike Festival Dish created by star chef Peter Brunel will definitely be a centerpiece.

Exhibitors highlight: the Bike Festival Riva Future Summit
On April 30 at 4p.m., the eve of the official opening, exhibitors will come together for the new Bike Festival Riva Future Summit at the Hotel du Lac – a round table for everyone to network and learn. Discussions will include the questions “How is AI changing the bike world?”, “In which areas can AI be used in the bike industry?” and “Where can it improve the user experience?” The discussion will be led by Petra Bindl, a moderator and journalist with sport and artificial intelligence expertise. The guests will be Claudius Zick (former manager at Amazon and AI expert), Hannes Neupert (mobility expert and eBike pioneer, Chairman of ExtraEnergy e.V. ), Andrea Ziliani (YouTuber, content creator and bike tester) and Ciro Malacarne (ProM Facility mechatronics engineer with a focus on additive manufacturing), who is working with Rovereto-born sailor and two-time Olympic champion Ruggero Tita on the development of high-performance components for performance sailboats. Tita himself will also be joining the discussion from Brazil.
